My immediate aim is to meet and treat my clients on an individual basis, with respect, listen to their issues and devise a unique treatment plan specific to their needs and expected outcomes. A treatment plan creates a clear direction for both client and therapist whereby it can be monitored and/or modified as needed.  I will work with the client to build confidence in their physical functions by enhancing flexibility (for better range of motion ROM), strength and conditioning, increased circulation benefiting their body’s balance and functionality. This eventually leads to less pain and dysfunction, an increase in activity, mood and a decrease in stress levels.  An awareness of simply being more mindful of their own body and its needs for better mind/body balance and wellbeing.

With today’s busy lifestyle it is important to take time out to look after your own health and well being. Many people work stressful jobs that take a toll on their bodies. How can you be expected to perform your job to the best of your ability if you are in physical pain, which we all know can be debilitating and distracting. I will tailor the treatment to suit you; whether you just want a simple tension release or something more comprehensive to find out why you keep getting reoccurring problems like Back pain or headaches. I can take the next step to find the reasons behind these issues and create a treatment plan to help improve what your issues and quality of life. Musculoskeletal Therapy (MST) offers my clients a one-on-one personalised and caring approach to prevention, correction, rehabilitation and treatment of musculoskeletal pain and conditions. I look at the muscles, joints and nerves combined to be able to get the most clear picture of what the condition is and the best treatment approach. I developed an interest in treating headaches, migraines and neck pain, which as a student studying became a very real issue for me. Through the years I’ve found several techniques with treatment and rehab which have proven effective. I want to keep expanding my knowledge and hope to one day specialise in paediatrics and congenital musculoskeletal disorders.
