With today’s busy lifestyle it is important to take time out to look after your own health and well being. Many people work stressful jobs that take a toll on their bodies. How can you be expected to perform your job to the best of your ability if you are in physical pain, which we all know can be debilitating and distracting. I will tailor the treatment to suit you; whether you just want a simple tension release or something more comprehensive to find out why you keep getting reoccurring problems like Back pain or headaches. I can take the next step to find the reasons behind these issues and create a treatment plan to help improve what your issues and quality of life. Musculoskeletal Therapy (MST) offers my clients a one-on-one personalised and caring approach to prevention, correction, rehabilitation and treatment of musculoskeletal pain and conditions. I look at the muscles, joints and nerves combined to be able to get the most clear picture of what the condition is and the best treatment approach. I developed an interest in treating headaches, migraines and neck pain, which as a student studying became a very real issue for me. Through the years I’ve found several techniques with treatment and rehab which have proven effective. I want to keep expanding my knowledge and hope to one day specialise in paediatrics and congenital musculoskeletal disorders.

I believe each and every person has the ability to make a change for the better simply by taking responsibility of their own body and mindset. As both a remedial and myotherapist it is my job to support my clients through this change with ongoing education, active movement rehabilitation, soft tissue therapy, and motivation. I take a special interest in treating chronic neck and shoulder pain cases and am always looking to develop my skills as a manual therapist to better assist my clients on their journey to better health and function.

I am passionate, dedicated and committed to taking a holistic approach to client care. I provide the client with the best opportunities to achieve their goals. I have worked in the Community and Disability sector for 10 years. The human body has a miraculous ability to repair itself, but many of the muscular complaints I see can actually be avoided with simple preventative measures. As a remedial therapist I am interested in empowering people to engage in their own recovery from injury or presenting issue. I tailor treatment plans for my clients to include a holistic approach to treatment outcomes – ‘Looking at the whole picture’.

Remedial Massage Techniques: Deep Tissue, Muscle Energy, Mobilisations, Trigger Pointing.

Remedial massage identifies specific issues or dysfunctions, and will formulate a treatment plan for your health concerns.

Relaxation Massage Techniques: Swedish, Thai Stretching, Shiatsu, Reflexology.

Relaxation massage is a general relaxing service. It focuses on giving the client time to recover from the stresses of daily life.

Regardless of the modality I am utilising in treating you, I aim to prioritise your needs to help dispel your discomfort.

My treatment philosophy it to target the root cause while identifying and assisting in removing any other issues at hand. Whether it be physical, mental or spiritual.  An illness manifests itself differently in every body, because every body is different, literally. That is why I will create a unique holistic treatment plan just for you.

I also utilise a combination of classical Chinese needling techniques with modern day acupuncture techniques, with the utilisation of deep/soft tissue work to assist with your relief. I specialise in traumatological conditions that are chronic/acute such as sciatica, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, neck pain and more.  But I also can treat any general issues causing discomfort in the body such as headaches, digestion issues, mental health, insomnia, shortness of breath, fatigue, chest tightness and more.

At end of each treatment, I hope my treatment will bring not just a smile to your face but also knowing what was causing you pain yesterday, is no more.

I am a Myotherapist who uses a holistic approach to understand and treat the cause of your musculoskeletal condition.
With today’s lifestyle multiple factors are involved when we consider movement dysfunction and pain. Every individual holds and uses their body differently depending on what they need/want to achieve; whether that be walking or surfing. When the body uses a certain inefficient pattern which has been habituated it can lead to pain.
Treatment can target what is causing the pain whilst understanding and education can be used to maintain results from treatment and motivate you towards reduced pain and improved mobility, stability and strength.
I have a special interest in treating chronicity and being able to see an individual experiencing walking without pain for the first time in years or such reduced headaches that an individual can do daily tasks again.
I also have a background in sports massage in AFL, NRL and futsal and treating for injury prevention and for performance.
