Why we do it

Providing a professional and therapeutic approach to your bodies overall well being

Sports massage is a type of massage that is specifically tailored to sporting injuries or ailments. Contrary to its name, sports massage is not only utilized by professional sportspeople or people that exercise heavily. It is of benefit to anyone that exercises, even if it is only mild exercise such as regular walking.

Massage is very effective for relieving some of the most troublesome and hard to treat forms of chronic pain – lower back pain, osteoarthritis pain, pain from older sports injuries and even fibromyalgia pain, something that is notoriously hard to treat effectively using conventional medicine. It can also be effective in relieving the pain caused by repetitive stress disorders like carpal tunnel as well as for simply relieving muscle tension that can often cause horrible pain.

With remedial massage, therapists are trained to assess your body, observe changes over time, and design individual treatment plans for each client. More than just feel good massage, they can use specific techniques to address and an individuals’ injury, postural of joint issues, as well as improving circulation, reducing pain and bringing a sense or general well being.

Can see why Bianca has been nicknamed the neck and shoulder specialist! Was great to have someone spend the time it takes to work on the areas that I felt needed addressing.
